How to import and export MySQL database in Navicat

1. Importing data into MySQL from other databases

MySQL supports importing data from many different types of databases. You can import data from SQL Server, Oracle, Access, PostgreSQL, Informix, DB2, Sybase, Ingres, InterBase, Firebird, and ODBC-compliant databases. Importing data from other databases into MySQL can be done using either the LOAD DATA INFILE command or through the use of ODBC drivers.

The import function allows you to import data into your database. You can choose between importing data from a file that contains comma-separated values (CSV) or a tab-delimited text file

2. Exporting data from MySQL to other databases

You can export data from MySQL to any database that supports the ODBC standard. This includes Microsoft's SQL Server, Oracle, and Access databases.

Exporting data out of MySQL can be done using the UNLOAD command or through the use ODBC drivers.

Exporting data from MySQL is done using the same method as importing data. However, instead of importing data, you would be exporting data from your database. This is done by executing a SELECT statement

Step 1: Import database
           Go to  Database-> Right Click-> Execute SQL file and Browse your file name  
Step 2: Export Database
           Go to  Database-> Right Click-> Dump SQL file and Browse your file name
